CONSULTA s.r.o. was established on 17 February 1992 as an unlimited partnership with an exclusive focus on the provision of legal services. It subsequently transformed into an attorney office after the chamber of commercial lawyers was dissolved.
The founders were JUDr. Peter Šmeringai, prof. JUDr. Ján Cirák CSc., prof. JUDr. Marián Vrabko, CSc., and CONSLULTA s.r.o. is currently the oldest continuously running company providing legal services in Slovakia. It has been housing personalities who later found success as renowned academics, practicing experienced attorneys or even a judge of the Constitutional Court.

The company´s long history has been linked with transformation processes that had profound impact across the society. Our lawyers have been working on privatisation, transformation of railways and unbundling of companies in the area of electricity industry.

A natural generational exchange has brought a change in the legal form and CONSULTA has been operating as a limited liability company since 1 January 2022.
