JUDr. Martin Kello graduated from the Faculty of Law in Bratislava. During his studies, which he accomplished in 1999, he was working as an assistant in a law firm, as well as in a state company in the area of construction of hydro-electric plants. He started working as a legal trainee directly after graduation and specialised in insolvency law and participated in several high-profile insolvency proceedings. He shared his experience in this area by publishing numerous articles in expert magazines.
His legal practice puts heavy emphasis on company law and insolvency law. The area of energy industries (electricity industry, gas industry, heating industry) has become a significant area of specialisation for him. He focuses on contracts with a public element in accordance with legal regulations governing energy industries, price regulation, as well as acquisitions in the area of production of energy from renewable resources. He has participated in numerous business transactions: transformation of railways, as well as unbundling of companies in the area of electricity industry are just a few to mention.
He has been with the law firm CONSULTA since 2000, at first as a legal candidate and commercial lawyer, from 2004 as a cooperating attorney and solely practicing attorney, and since 2022 as a partner.
