JUDr. Matej Marhavý gained legal education at Commenius University in Bratislava. Prior to the start of attorney practice, he got experience in the area of construction law in an international construction company and as a chief consultant in the department of state building administration of the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development of the Slovak Republic. He has been with the law firm CONSULTA since 2006, at first as a legal trainee, from 2009 as a cooperating attorney and solely practicing attorney, and since 2022 as a partner.
Aside from company law and litigious agenda within civil and administrative proceedings, he as well focuses on administrative law with an emphasis on construction law and medicine law. As for private law, he specialises in developer transactions and land law, including proprietary and user relationships with respect to agricultural land.
